Does anyone of you know if there is a way to fit a Nikon angle finder DR-5 (for the D3/D2 series) to a D300? Or do I have to buy a separate angle finder for the D300? There must be some kind of adapter, right?

Thanx!

Hi Jasper,

I am sorry I don't know this, but I was looking for an angle finder for the D300. Any other suggestions other than the Nikon brand? Is the Hoodman any good?

Maybe on Nikonians website, I am going to take a look over there also for the angle finder.

Hey Jasper,

Supposedly the Canon Angle finder C works on the D200-300 with the optional supplied eyepiece adapter. I sold my Canon finder recently but I lost the Adapter so I could verify the claims.

There are chinese made Angle finders for $30 or so on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/Seagull-2x-Angle-View-Finder-Nikon-D80-Canon-EOS-DSLR_W0QQitemZ170195313807QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item 170195313807)that are okay from what I am told. If your do a search on DP review you will find long threads on this subject.

Robert

P.s. I found the canon eyepiece adpater now but I have alread sold the angle finder!!
