Taken in Panama this January. These are fun little birds and obviously love posing for the camera.:) They are loud, but difficult to find because they blend in pretty well with the green leaves everywhere.

Bryan, I love the unusual down-ward looking pose. It highlights the curious nature of a parakeet! Overall it's a finely executed image, but I do feel it's maybe a little too clean. I yearn for a few leaves or a rich green background of a lush Panamanian rain forest. :)

Judd, out of 718 photos I took in Panama I think the series of this parakeet are the only ones that have a clean BG. I'll take it! If only my toucan photos were clean. ;)

I love it! Excellent pose, and your crop works wonderfully. Perhaps a tad more sharpening to bring out the fine details for web presentation, but otherwise congrats!!
