Very nice Stuart, love that eye, i'm guessing this is a Red-shouldered Hawk of the Florida sub-species?
Good detail in feathers and nice light, perch is as good as a grab-shot will give you sometimes, not sure how i feel about the horizontal vine but it's not un-pleasing.

A beautiful bird and an elegant pose, Stuart. I also like the comp and the background. Nice diagonal perch. On the other hand, the vine does catch my eye and lead it out of the frame. :) You might consider cropping off the bottom to just above the vine.

I wouldn't crop the image at all, that just seems pointless to me. I'd clone all that out so you still save the resolution, plus this composition works very well.

The bird looks very majestic in the light you've shot in.

Very nice! Lovely pose and sharp. A bit on the bright side - will darken and boost contrast a bit. Would also clone out the vine. Composition looks fine to me although I would normally move the bird a bit more to the left.

I agree on cloning out the vine. Without it, this will definitely be one of your best. The light, exposure, and detail are excellent here.

Beautiful pose, love the details and sharpness, vine must go and I might also crop a bit from bottom since it is just empty space.
