I found this single G/Yellowlegs searching the shallows of a small back water yesterday morning.

The reflection is great, as is the framing using the contrast of light. Well done.

Beautiful reflection. Might try it as a vert. as well.

Edward:
Very well seen and captured, the two tone, dark center and silver side very flattering IMO (agree with Aiden)
I might consider cleaning up a few spots showing up in the darker areas of the water, and would def. play around with various crops to strengthen the image even further.
I think Joe is on the right path, and would start with a more vertical crop.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the suggestions, and I tried it as a vertical, but didn`t like the results I got.

The reflections, and soft light here are lovely. I might try lightening the eye, it is pretty dark.

Great reflection, dark water, ripples, and details in subject. I find the white edges a little bit distracting; would love to see it with the original dark water all around.
Seems to be a blue/cyan cast, easily corrected by setting white point.
