Excellent bird, very difficult color (Red,Black,White) combination to exp. perfectly done.
Love the perch too, is it a set-up? I wish for just a bit better HA and I would
remove the green OOF BG on the RH side. Very nice.

Ilija said it all regarding the exposure, so well done on that. I kind of like the pose, and good detail from the back view. Maybe a tad tight at the bottom.

What a delightful colorful image. Let me pose this thought regarding head angle....you have eye contact, so there is a connection between subject and viewer. The bird has his back to you. If he were to twist his head so that a more conventional head angle was achieved, I think he would not look relaxed as that would be unnatural.
Maybe I'm missing the point, but I totally like this as presented.

It's all been said Jim. This is a super image. The oof green in the bg doesn't bother me much. I like the pose just fine. Shows nice feather detail on the back. Well done.
