Hi everyone! I am new, well I been a member for a while but mostly been reading up to this point & decided its time to join in. I do regonize some names here. Since you all already know my name I guess I can skip that part and go on to say that I love taking pictures of birds, but beside birds I also like going to aquaruims specially those with dolphins, I love taking macros and flowers, HDR and tonemapping are fun but I at times have issues with it tho I would like to learn it further and I am currently reading a book about it. My favorite duck is the wood duck. :)
I always enjoyed taking pictures and started out using a Canon Rebel X 35mm camera with the one lens we had which is a 35-80mm. I got my first digital camera in 2007 and that is when I really got into nature photography. Digital changes everything completely and its amazing what you can do! That first camera which I do still use for birds and the far away stuff is the Canon PowerShot S5 IS, super zoom point & shoot camera with the 12x optical zoom, I have the 1.5x teleconverter for it which basically makes it 600mm, but it does has some draw backs of course. :P In August after saving forever I purchased my first DSLR, the Canon EOS 40D and I have the Canon 50mm f/1.8 II, Tamron 90mm macro f/2.8 and my old 35-80mm f/4-5.6 lens. I mostly use the macro and my 50mm. I am currently in the process of saving for the Canon 100-400mm. =)
Well that is me and look forward to posting with you all, sorry for my rather long introduction lol..
