I like the wing position and fanned tail, it is sharp and eye is crisp. light is coming from above and the entire body is in shadow, still impressive that you got the shadow details at ISO 800, D3 at work here :) if it holds up raise the shadows more. BTW, I would have gone +0.5EV here, more shadow detail and with D3 high dynamic range sensor you can easily recover the highlights.

The exp comp was +0.5, when you mentioned that I had a look and realised I had -0.5 by mistake, my apologies.
Have managed to eek out some more detail in the shadows.
