For this, I used a photo that I took of one of my turkey coop windows and, you guessed it :), a photo of the barn. After converting the image to B&W, I overlaid it with a texture that I created which gave it the antique color tones. I also added a vignette.

A great result, Chris - I love the combo and what a great 'view' through your window.

Christopher, You are kickin'. This is a lovely antique look. I like the careful framing and the vignette. I wonder if a very slight lightening of the wood surrounding the window would make the image pop a bit more. I'm not sure but it might be worth a try. Nice work!!:)

Love the color tone, it really works. I am wondering what is going on in the upper left hand corner of the window???

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the comments. Denise, I'll try your idea of lightening the wood a tiny bit and see how I like it. Nick, I think that's a cobweb up in the ULC of the window; I probably should have cloned it out.

Very creative! I also really like the color tone and all of the wonderful character (knots and grain) that came out in the wood.

Christopher, I love your barn and building images! Very nice use of the sepia tone. I would suggest that you desaturate the picture to give it some separation from the wood of the real barn. If that picture were actually there, it would fade and age much faster than the wood of the building. Good job!

Very pastoral, and good input from Kerry. Love the aged feeling you have achieved here Christopher.
