Ft Desoto Area

I arrived for a month in Tierra Verde last night. I was disappointed to see the area near the north beach point is more restricted than last year. The spot where I got my best shorebird shots last year is closed off.

I am hoping Art sends up a 2010 update to his guide soon, but does anyone have any good, hot spots in the Tierra Verde area?

how is the area restricted ? I was there a few weeks ago and it was accessible all the way from the foot bridge area to the inlet on the north end. Now it was pretty dead due to the cold weather which caused a lot of fish kills and hence few birds...hopefully it improves somewhat ....

I am sorry - I confused you. I was talking about the lagoon area perhaps .5 south of the foot bridge.
