Anyone have opinions about current point and shoots that work well in a digiscoping arrangements? A few I'm looking at include

Sony Cybershot DSC-W230 (The W220 I'm told worked well, and this looks like a successor, but I can't seem to locate a filter thread adapter for it.)
Canon Powershot A1000IS (Does it even have filter threads?)
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T90 (better reviewed than the DSC-W230 but will it actually connect?)

These are all 4x zooms.

It seems extremely hard to find current information on digiscoping camera models, including such basic details as filter thread size and available adapters. Not even scope and adapter manufacturers seem able to say, "Yes, here are 4 current cameras that work well with out scopes." :-(

Elliotte, I have no experience with digiscoping, but one of my friends has just started using the Canon S90 for that purpose so keep that model in mind too.
