Sorry, haven't been active on BPN lately. I was out scanning nearby woods for birds and noticed the clouds and lighting were coming together pretty well. 1 minute later, the sun was obscured, and illumination on the trees and house didn't reappear.

Slight crop from bottom and right, levels, boosted reds and greens slightly, minor amount of sharpening.

Handheld, Canon 24-70mm
Camera: Canon EOS 7D
Exposure: 0.01 sec (1/100)
Aperture: f/13.0
Focal Length: 51 mm
Exposure Bias: +1/3 EV
ISO Speed: 250

How's the processing and comp?

Thanks!

This is a very peaceful image. I really like how, if your eyes start in the clouds, they are led right to the houses on the pond by the line of clouds. Nice.

I like this one. As Mike said, the lines indicated by the clouds and the treeline converge nicely on the houses.

Just as a personal preference, I would open the shadow details on the trees a bit and reduce the green/cyan levels in the blue of the sky.

Hi Dave,Nice light along with an interesting sky. Dave's repost enhanced the image by making the colors more natural. I also like the convergence of the elements ending on the houses...

The composition is real nice. I like the re-post with the shadow details more visible.

Hi all! I'm new here, this is my first post.
I like this image, telling silence, and I tried to improve as I thought.
I hope not to upset anyone.
