Nice one! I'll leave all the technical comments to the more experienced folks here, but I really like the composition and behavioral aspect of this shot.

Very nice shot. Excellent detail in the bird's head and the spider. The bird stands out very nicely against the dark BG. I find the crop a little tight.

Great capture by the both of you Dave. Im not the best at techs but toning down the branch a little where the bright spots are might help some. Other than that excellent shot. The spider looks yummy!!

Fantastic shot. Good enough to even show it's not a spider, but a harvestman! The segmented abdomen gives it away. The "Daddy long-legs" of most houses (at least in New Zealand) are these. Order Opiliones. :)

Very nice shot. I really like the sharpness of the photo with out it appearing sharpened. Colours are also very nice. Good capture. Dave
