Inspired by Callies post I have decided to post this pretty awful effort, harsh light again, caused by sudden change in direction.

Taken in Mountain Zebra NP, Eastern Cape, South Africa, 16th December 2009

EOS 1D MkII n (not good enough for BBC WPTY)

28-300mm at 300mm

F6.3, ISO 800, 1/2000

Hi Ken Did well with the harsh light and ended up with two good poses, both in the air !!! Not sure if you have any more room up front but would like seeing some !!! .. these guys must be fun to photograph !!

Ken I will be happy if it were mine, these guys start so fast that one is never ready for them. And the Pronking spray is nicely in evidence!

Wow, some interesting poses, they do fly :) Too bad about the sun angle you get them when you can.

Nice to get both in the frame. You already mentioned the light but you did well with the circumstances. Interesting behavior. TFS

Ken, great symmetrical pronking postures, and well done on getting both in focus, especially with both being quite far apart.

Good symmetry Ken, you did well to capture them together.

Really like the symmetry here and the BG/grasses look good too. Would've been nice to have the faces lit but the light looks well handled and doesn't look all that bad to me.

Thanks everybody for your interesting comments, perhaps I should have a further look at this and others from the same sighting.
Springbok do this a lot (presumably just for fun although scientists attribute other reasons), the symmetry had nothing to do with me, just good luck.
