Nikon D300 + 70-200VR + TC17EII. ISO 400. 1/2000 sec; f6.3. Processed in LightRoom. Used Viveza LR plugin to darken the sky a little bit.

It makes a dark impression on me (also the sky). Did you try to brighten the underwings with shadows/highlights?

I like the pose, colors, faned tail and especially those pinky feet.
I'm very interested to know about this biscuit, I give the same one to my dogs and thet love it.
Does Gulls love it as well?

That dog biscuit is priceless! I like the sharpness too. The image looks dark to me also. You definitely have room to push your whites to the right. The sky seems unnatural to me.
