Beautiful shot Denise, the bird is nicely lighted, sharp and jumps off the screen.

She looks good Denise...intent on where she is flying to. Is there a bit of a repeating pattern in front of her right wing in the wave? I'd modify that, even if it is natural, as my eye sees that as unnatural.

Thanks folks.
Grace, No I didn't add any canvas or clone anything. The BG is natural. I see what you are saying and will look into changing it. Thanks:)

Excellent, the bird is in OOF water BG, and the in-focus water below is perfect.
Nice pose and bird. Great one!

Wondeful BIF. Well exposed. Even though the bird is large in frame it conveys the vastness of the open ocean to me. Well done Denise. :)

Good one, Denise! I like the wing position, eye contact and detail; and the water is awesome. These are tough, fast-flying birds to capture.

Sharpness and eye contact look good. I might crop it a bit tighter.

This one is loverly. These ladies really steam even into that west wind. The little pattern in front of the far wing is actually one of my favorite parts of the image. The scalloping there sort of repeats the trailing edge of the wing. (Did you plan that???) If you twisted my arm really hard, I might suggest a crop from the bottom to just above where it says "Denise Ippolito" so that the space above the birdie equaled the space below. There is a bit of foam near the bottom just inside the right frame edge that could go.

The direct eye contact is really good Denise. I like the wings´position and the light angle a lot and would not change a single pixel in the composition, very good job :-)

Nicely done Denise! The bird looks great; good enough that I might go with a tighter crop to better show off the detail. Thanks again for everything! Really enjoyed spending the day with you and Michael. Sliding into second base hands first on the jetty wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be! ;):D:eek:
