My wife and I are driving to Florida this weekend. We thought we might stop at Tybee Island along the way. If anyone knows where there might be birds this time of year could you either tell me where (in relation to this map) or download the map, mark the spots, and send it to me.

Thanks.

I'm really too late to help you but, I'll answer your question anyway.

You should consider visiting the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge (http://www.fws.gov/refuges/profiles/index.cfm?id=41625)while you're in the area. If you're coming down I-95 you go right by it on your way to Tybee. The Laurel Hill Wildlife Drive there is nice.

Here's info from eBirds (http://ebird.org/ebird/GuideMe?src=changeDate&getLocations=hotspots&hotspots=L450139&parentState=US-SC&reportType=location&monthRadio=on&bMonth=01&eMonth=12&bYear=2008&eYear=2010&continue.x=44&continue.y=12).

I'll email you a map.
