What a morning I had. I did a set-up for Kiskadee and had about 25 birds coming and going. (I will post a wide angle image showing all the birds around my set-up on my blog by this weekend) There were also 5 Golden-fronted Woodpeckers on my stumps and a pair of Altimore Orioles. My goal was to get flight shots of the Kiskadees, which I got plenty. There were also about 8 Orange-crown Warblers feeding on the suet I put out.

This is one of the prettiest shots I've ever seen! I've ordered your CD, and can't wait to get my hands on it. The red of the berries sets off the bird so beautifully, and having a berry held so delicately in its beak is the icing on the cake.

Since having received your CD and devouring its contents, it really made me realize how meticulously you approach this stage! I am blown away with every image. This is no different. Not sure who I was talking to the other day on the San Diego IPT but we both agreed that lots of folks do songbird set-ups but that Alan just did them better because he worked harder at it. The image above is a perfect example of that. My favorite parts are the berry in the mouth and the head angle.
