Lonely flight pose with excellent exposure and detail. Fine work Stuart.

Bro, this is awesome! Even the angle of the head (to me) matches its flight direction perfectly. Super comp and love that sky.

one of the best tern shots I've seen in a long time mate. exposure, comp, HA all spot on!

Stuart, liked the vertical crop. The diagonal orientation gives enough space in the front of the head. Contrast of bill and the sky is very striking. Well done.

Stuart I too like this post a lot. I just wish that you had posted it at a slightly larger size.

Stunning image of one of my favorite birds Stuart. I am getting some "sparkles" on the top of the head and wonder if they are water droplets or signs of slight over-sharpening.

great angle of flight well captured. Must agree with Dan on the sharpening though? (also shows up the noise below the wings, I think)
