This one was also from my trip to Thailand in December.

Ok, I am aware some of you may say clone out the twig under its vent and the bit to the right end edge. Apart from that I like the HA and eye contact of this one. Too bad the big vertical trunk was in the way. I could not move anymore to the right as well.

Phil, good inquisitive pose, and you have captured good detail and colours. The colours look natural too. If this was mine, I would have lost the twig and leaf LRC.

Beautiful image - fantastic colours and super detail, in addition to the aforesaid I would try cloning out the big bough, I don't think it adds to the image.

A stunning bird. Really nice interaction with the camera. Love the smooth BG, and yes, that trunk could be easily removed if that is not against your ethics.

Incredibles colors and sharpness. Loved the pose too. The BG goes very well with the bird. You were successful in not only capturing all the bold colors...but the subtle ones too. Cant take my eyes off the bird.

stunningly beautiful bird, great pose and exposure too. I hear Stu on the twig and leaf but this beaut's got all my attention when viewing this photo!

I love the head angle, colours and the detail on this bird. I would definitely cone out the small green twig but perhaps not the trunk although I'd like to see this posted again with the trunk removed for comparison.

Sure a little PP work could improve and make it cleaner, but I like it as is. Cute, inquisitive pose. What an awesome looking bird! WEll done Phil, thanks for sharing. :)

Terrific image Phil. The colors are fantastic and the smooth light is to die for. In my opinion it is a bit tight in the bottom. Very good job:)
