Took this October of last year during a heavy snow storm. I really struggled with exposure this day. Shot 10 miles outside of my hometown Worland, Wy. 2 days later the snow completely melted. This rut season I ended up with 3,800 kept images. Taken from my window pod. Antelope tend to be skitish when you get out of the vehicle, this approached allowed for hours of natural behavior photography.

Hi James

Exposure should not be difficult, would meter of snow (only) and open one and two thirds Your exposure looks plenty good with lots of detail at both ends !!!

Not sure about this composition, difficult to focus on one area, would like isolating one animal of having the entire group with more room !! ... you did get a ton of snow !!!

I agree Al, I think that I seleted this one because of the expression and was not thinking about the area around him. The herd were so large this year it was hard to isolate.

Agree with Al on both exposure and comp. Exposure looks fine as well as sharpness. TFS

James, good exposure through out the image. I feel if you are selecting a large section of a herd, to have the whole selection fall in your DOF.
