Found some Terns at my local Inlet the other day resting after working the bait schools all morning.

I like the angle, soft light and eye contact. I might crop a bit off the top and when sharpen you could try to avoid a halo by selecting within the borders of the bird.

If you hadn't mentioned it before I wouldn't have picked it up - but I can see a bit of a repeated pattern where you did the clone job directly behind the leg.

Good exposure, and nice profile pose. Good low angle too. Perhaps a bit too much room above.

Hi Axel, Thanks for taking the time to comment where are you seeing the halo I sharpen on a separate layer and you a mask to apply it.

Don, good exposure on the whites, showing lovely feather detail. I like the low angle too. I agree, cropping off the top will work. With regards the halo, on my screen, I see a halo running along the underside of the tail, and below the beak.

Nicely done. Very nice angle for the shot. I also like the idea of a bit off the top. Dave

Nice low angle and a perfect profile shot. Nice texture in the sand.

Love the low angle and comp. Exposed very well. Great detail.
