Hi all, shot this yesterday evening while trying to remember everything from "The art of bird photography II". I wanted a solid BG colour, bird heading into centre, light coming from directly behind me etc... This is straight out of the box, haven't touched it yet. Any suggestions to make it better?
Cheers
Martin

Sharp sharp image. Love the detail on the bill. I can't believe it hasn't being optomized?

Nice and sharp, exposure looks good and BG is lovely, Martin. You're putting into practice what you have learnt very well. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the flattering comments guys. Ted, as I said, untouched yet:) I was sitting on my butt, elbows on knees for support, IS was on and SS was 1/1000. Had to be sharp:D
cheers

Way to go Martin. I don't know what else I would do with it. It's position well in the frame, The exposure looks right on,the bg is neat. It's sharp as a tack. Maybe lighten the bg a bit? Maybe a tad of saturation? I don't know? Keep them elbows and knees tight and keep up the good work.
