From our time in Coral Springs.. This guys was only animated for about 10min of the several hours we spent. This one caught my eye as I was culling images from the trip this afternoon.

Thanks for looking,
Lou

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, do you care to step into my office????

Great catch, Lou, very nice light, EXP and detail on the plumage. Nice eye contact too.

Very nice to see this species in action, usually they're static (though portraits are nice as well). I might have gone -1/3 EV, but I tend to go too dark habitually, so that might not be the best advice:)

I don't know what's better......the pose or the title. Excellent on both accounts.

This is really nice I like the slightly raised foot and open wing the composition is excellent.

Well timed to capture the slightly open, and raised foot. I would maybe tone down the the overall image, ever so slightly.

Cool pose and title. :) I also like the angle and eye contact and might adjust the midtones to make it a tad darker.

Lou:

Very cute. I do agree with Axel about the midpoint adjustment. I would say an output setting of about 115 would be great. Very fun.

Cheers

Hi Lou: Agree on adjusting the midtones ever so slightly. Spent two hours with these guys last week and didn't get any action like this! Happy you did though! Just love the pose and your title rocks!
