Took this shot from a different perspective than the last, to expand the lake portion and minimize the sky portion. I don't know, though; there's something about it that bothers me and I'm not sure what. Maybe other sets of eyes will help!!

Hi Anita,
I like the composition and capture...I like the framing using the park bench as a compositional anchor. I would suggest adjusting your black point and your mid-tones just a tad darker to eliminate the radiant shine off the lake...asside from this, good job...looking forward to more...

Hi Anita Would also tone down the foreground vegetation, not sure if its the temp or density? Just doesn't blend well with the ice !! Do like the composition and overall feel !! Sure like what your trying !!!

The composition is interesting... I'm not loving it... but I'm not hating it either. I'm thinking I might like it better as a black & white, high contrast. Whatever is sitting on top of the table distracts me. And while it makes me wonder what it is, I think it's not as strong as a bare table would've been.

Hi Anita - all good advice above - the object on the table draws my attention also.
I think with a bit of tweaking - this has potential :)

I like the color contrat on the ice and the soft feel of the sky.
