I added a bit of fractalius to this and masked back in some faint details. I liked the soft glowing effect, almost like an ember. I really liked the square crop for this.

Nice image and application Denise.
I like the softness and the glow. I would like to see something in focus and I'm not sure about the URC. I think either showing more of the top pedal touching the RB or eliminating the dark corner area would help. I like what is there. However something is distracting rather than inviting, for me. But ...
Your image ... your vision.

I like the translucency of the flower and stamens, I wonder what a bit of glow would look like on the top-most one D (pistil or stamen or whatever it is). Might give it a little more depth. Just a thought. Otherwise I am being totally sucked in by this soft PP technique.

love the subtle glow and details Denise.. the dark area of the ulc pulls my eye a tad, but this is a beautiful comp that has your signature soft touch. :)

I like this a lot. I don't see the similarity to an ember though. It reminds me of a sea creature and I can almost feel the swaying in the current. It has a soothing effect. Amazing how we all see something different.

Beautifully rendered, Denise. Love the translucent effect. Does feel like a deep sea jelly. I like the fractal embers.

Reminds me of looking at a plant at night with nothing but a worn out flashlight...magical!

Man this is just flat out gorgeous! What a nice looking image, very well done. No critiques here cause I am not sure how this could be done.
