Your leaf images are always way cool. Wish I had that vision.

Another great compositon. I read your comments about f32 on Anita's post. I must admit that I have never tried it with digital but will do so in the future.

Hey Tony, even though this image looks like it was shot from overhead which wouldn't need much DOF, it was actually shot at a low angle which needed the DOF to get it all in focus. I know the fact that shooting at f/32 doesn't produce the sharpest image, but with the digital system I just crank up the sharpening in PS and I get great result. I'm not worried about how it gets sharp just as long as the end result produce a good image. My images look even sharper in the full rez file and in print, as I havn't been able to create a small file for the web yet that looks as sharp as the original.

Nothing lacking in the sharpness here Mike!! - pleasing patterns and water drops a bonus.

Mike I really like this image. You've got repetition in textures, colours and shapes.

I've also visited you site and admire your style and eye.

Mike,

The metallic tones and colors make this image very interesting and the soft even omnidirectional lighting are pleasing to the eye. The water droplets sharpness really help too.

I love the way it looks 3D as you look down to the lower layers of leaves. Beautiful!
