I liked the interaction between parent and chick, together with the multi coloured BG of duckweed. Taken at a local birding spot in Cape Town.

Stuart,
I like the colours. Interactions between parent and child is always nice. I would be tempted to tone down the whites a bit. Do you routinely shoot at ISO 100?

Thanks Sabya. With regards to the ISO, I normally shoot at 400. In this case, these guys were quite far, so by reducing the ISO, and knowing I was going to have to do a large crop to make something of this, I reduced the ISO, so as not to bring out any more noise than necessary.

Very nice interaction and good timing. I like the pano crop as well. Good idea about the ISO and will keep that in mind. Dave

The feeding action looks great, to emphasize it, I might go for a tighter crop. I think you can safely go to ISO 200 and get the same image quality.
