Nice capture and I like look of the bird soaring over the oof reeds but I would clone out the ones which interfere with the subject and also I think the image would pop out more with some shadow/highlight tweaking and improved sky tone. Great sharpness and F8 nailed the dof.

Not an CS expert yet so all talk for the time being.

Lovely wingspread Jim, and well exposed too. Good eye contact, and agree, some of the grasses should go.

Nice and sharp and nice dof. Too bad about the shadow under left wing. I also find it interesting that you left the intersecting reed on right wing as well as the two black spots, birds perhaps, in upper part of bg. Very nice eye contact. Dave

Sharp, great DOF control, striking eyes.

I would agree with removing two reeds, the one hitting the bill, and the one intersecting the right wing.

When looking at the background, it really looks like it needs a sign. CW rotation.

I like the overall luminosity of the image a lot, just the right balance for me.
