I'll keep the coyote theme going. Wednesday, also in Yellowstone, but in the Lamar Valley.

Nice looking song dog. Side light gives nice depth to coyote. Would run some nr on bg. Might add a couple points of black to neutrals and blacks in selective color if you are using ps.

I like the composition, a bit more direct eye contact would be nice (not so easy to get of course) to me it looks soft though, especially the left eye

did you crop it? for me its to closed in, I would prefer a bit more space around it, plus if you cropped it giving more of the pic will help with the softness

Steve somehow I missed one until now. WOW I really like this one, the feeling is superb. I like the fact that he is not looking directly at you, it takes you out of the picture. I would just lighten the eye a touch.
See you soon.
cheers

Beautifully captured Steve and the looking back glance puts it over the top for me. Interesting angle too. Fine work !!!

Lovely pose and effective side lighting on this Coyote Steve, plenty of detail in the fur that can still be extracted with above comments.

Really like the light and the pose. Would like to see a little more room around the coyote.

I like the look back pose, together with the winter colours. I agree to run some NR to the BG.

All 'issues' covered in the above. If the detail, clarity and sharpness was there this would be a good shot. BTW has this been cropped at all? If so, by how much? Just a thought, however I think it's the 2x that has sadly let the quality down IMHO.

I assume this is a big crop. The angle of the shot is interesting.
