OK it is a White Rhino, it is the colour of soil at Makola that gives this effect.

One of the recently transferred Rhino, 5 were brought and within two years there are a minimum of 8.

Makola is a new National Park to replace Valbos after this was lost to a sucessful land claim.

Nearly 700 animals were transfered to this new park.

Taken in Makola National Park, Northern Cape, South Africa 13th December 2009.

Nice one Kenneth ;) you two do get around :D

A tad off the top wouldn't hurt I think.

Nicely captured, agree with a little off the top. I'm guessing you don't have any more to the left, if so a little added there would be nice.

Magnificent specimen Ken, with great textures and color in the mud & soil.
Agree on a crop from the top.

Todd ,

To the left is just oof bushes, this is quite a large crop it was around 100 metres away.

Steve,

It is only a long days drive from home (1000km)

I will look at taking a tad off the top

Nice orange rhino, we have them too in the Lion and Rhino NR, when one sees the gray Kruger ones, its hard to believe it is the same species. I really like the POV on this one.
