I captured this image of a Whiskered Tern at Marievale Bird Sanctuary near Johannesburg. The bird had spotted something in the water and hovered for several second above it, giving me time to get a few frames. The light was not perfect, but the white feathers of the tern against the lush green background created a pleasing contrast for me. All comments welcomed.
