Took this shot in a foggy condition had to shift to 800 ISO . I could get close to the bird because i shot this image from the car.

Ram - lovely shot! Great pose and head angle. Excellent colors and contrast. Normally the white in the background can be distracting, but the way you have used it in the gradient-like fashion looks great. Also the bit of leaf in the bottom left is a little distracting (I would prefer more or none). The image is a bit soft overall (probably due to the fog), and maybe I would crop just a little more off the top. Beautiful image!

I like the inquisitive pose, and the colours in the BG. I agree this is a bit soft, possibly due to your slow ss, or with that lens, you were too close for the minimum focussing distance.

Curious little guy - nice pose, BG. I would remove the green leaf on the lower left. A bit more sharpening on the beak and eye might strengthen the image.

Would lighten and sharpen the eye a tad - some selective sharpening to the bird.
SS a little slow for the Focal length.
