“Banking High”

This graceful fellow was flying early Sunday morning in Shark Valley, Florida’s Everglades National Park. He was painted with a Nikon D300s, using a Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4D - IF-ED , with a Nikkor 1.7 T/C.

Another nice one Gus, love the feather detail.

Curved wing tips are a plus and the framing is nice and balanced. I like the straight wing position in this picture and you nailed the whites - sweet one brother!

Did you run NR on BG or is it me (smile).

Nice job, Gus! I like the composition, the lovely lighting and the wingspread. Looks like the background could use some NR, but I'm on my laptop so could be just my monitor....

Gus, how black are the legs on these birds? The way it looks on my monitor makes me want to increase the contrast or saturate the black more on the legs. But then again, up here in the snowy part of MI, we don't see these birds flying by too much so I don't know if the legs are suppose to be dark black or not. :D
