Congratulations Steve Kaluski
Protective mother & baby
Well I know I said no more Tiger images, but this was taken in the same location, Bandhavgarh, does that count?
This mother (Rhesus monkey) was just cradling her new born on one of the fallen logs in the forest as the rest of the troop played around. Light was really good with just the perfect BG and using a fixed lens which helped diffuse the whole area. Minor 10% crop from the original. Little blemishes have been removed, BUT minimal!
Steve
MKIII 300f/2.8 1/250sec f5/6 ISO 400 hand held
BTW It has just won an award too
