New to this forum, so hello everyone. This Black-bellied Plover was photographed yesterday standing on an ice covered rock at Barnegat Lighthouse State Park in Surf City, New Jersey.

Welcome to BPN, Ryan! Very nice first post. I like the colors, sharpness and BG. A slightly higher angle would have been nice to show the feet, too. I might crop a tad off the bottom and lighten the iris a bit. Keep them coming!

I think we met at the end of the jetty, right?

Ryan, Welcome to BPN. Hope to see you out on the jetty. Beautiful BBP. I too might lighten the iris and take a sliver off the bottom. Nice details and color tones. I like the soft blue BG. also.
