Whether it's on land or in the freezing cold water, these bear are well adapted to face the elements.
Sadly on this occasion there isn't too much narrative (horrah I hear :D ), but suffice to say this trip was certainly the 'highlight' of 2009 for me, achieving a long term goal of mine, to photography Polar Bears :)
