I liked the way this fella was balancing himself while feeding on Bamboo rice. I had no time to adjust a different angle of shoot for a better BG. So decided to capture the moment as it is.

That is one tough exposure and you did well !! Wish for a little more detail on the dark body but lifting with shadow highlight might have turn the color to mush With these kind I don't mind blowing the bg for obtaining detail in the feather.

Didn't see the exposure comp, might be good to list since it would help with suggestions !!! Good body & head position !!

The captured behavior is very interesting and another vote for more sharpening. How big are these guys?
