After feeding on a Waterbuck killed in the mud by the pride, the cubs moved into the golden grass field to rest and sun.
Location_Moremi Area of Okavango ,Botswana.

Is this FF? any room for a slightly tighter crop? Also a larger size would be nice too. Like this a lot.

Lovely image, Chas. There are some wonderful colors out there for us to capture and you've shown the possibilities here. Those sad looking lions provide a nice contrast to the golden grassland. I agree with Marc's comments. Well done.

Nice comp Charles, and the golden grass makes the lion cubs pop!
Are you sure they are not black panthers,:D

The contrast between the two elements is very good and unusual to see 'cats' so dirty. Sadly the image is just too small for me to add anything more unfortunately.

Funny ,I thought I started out with a larger image(around 150kb) . will review and see what happened ?

Hi Chas Would crop the top and make it rectangular !! Will make them larger in frame and the image would flow in the direction the cub is looking Love the light and overall mood !!!

I actually wanted them "swallowed" by the grassland since they were so different. I can see several pics within this pic and thanks for suggestions.

This is SO Africa! Like the position in the frame, and the fact that they are part of the environment!
