Great job Gary, really love the feel of this image, the moss really makes the image. What is thew white thing on the left hand by the base of the tree?

Hey Gary,
Very nice fee l to this. I am with Curly on the brighter area and most of the brightest spots.....could use some toning down or even brightening up some of the other areas selectively. You have manged to capture the essence of the bayou.....which isn't the easiest to pull off! Nicely done!!!

Hi Gary, Agree with Roman regarding pulling a composition out of a mass of trees but I feel you succeeded. As stated the white areas are a bit hot and distracting. I would tone down if possible but otherwise well handled...

I love it. This really has the feel of the swamp.

I like Roman's idea of selectively brightening some areas. I would choose the green branches in the foreground that are in sharpest
focus, and some of the hanging moss. If you brighten those a little, it will give the image more depth. Working with the full-size image,
this could be done very convincingly.

There you go again Peano....lol. Nice GIF there.

I really like this image Gary, I'm going to try to recreate it when I head down to the Santee swamp in the spring. Thanks for the inspiration! Does it need a slight CCW tilt, or is that just me?

Excellent mood captured. Agree with toning down bright spots menntioned above. David's GIF pops it nicely, but maybe the original scene is more subdued than that. Well done.

Great image.

I'm from Louisiana (been gone for 20 years) really makes me miss home!

Let me join the chorus, Gary - terrific mood shot.

For me, the way you've caught the water makes the whole image. Beautiful.

I like the feel of the OP. However, I also prefer the brighter branches and would make the bright areas go away.

Gary,

I concur with the above on the comp and feel and agree that selective brightening of some areas strengthens the image.
