D300 / 200-400 VR @ 400mm
Katana Gimbal, Gitzo 1340, slight crop, natural light
1/60 sec, f6.3, iso 200

I had the pleasure of spending the day with BPN member Jackie Schuknecht, and luck was on our side with some very nice shooting opportunities., with several barred owls.

We do not often find owls in dense fog, so this image is a bit of a challenge., any suggestions would be appreciated.

My gosh, Ray, you have the most beautiful forest settings in Canada. I love the whole feel of this photo and I'm afraid if you tried to do much more with it you might get something different but not any better.
