Taken in Ding Darling NWR using a Canon Digital Rebel and the Sigma 300-800mm lens at 800mm and a 1.4 extender on a Wimberly Tripod locked down. ISO 400 at f8. Not the color you get in March as this was taken early Jan.
As always, comments appreciated,
Roman

I like the pose, details and eye contact. I agree that it is a bit tight in the frame.

Hey All,
I wanted to back off..........probably should have (especially with the zoom).....but there was a bird just off to the right and tree garbage to the left.

Love the pose here Roman with great colour and detail. Extra space all around would put this image over the top!!!

Love the pose.

I have a question. Why is the bird and perch glowing??

Thanks all, will add canvas as it is very easy........if you haven't noticed..big fan of tight crops but even I agree....this could use a little more. As for Maxis...........I don't see it on my screen...does anyone else?

Excellent colors and I love the background. Dont mind the crop at all. Thanx for sharing.

No glow here. The forehead looks just a bit funky as if it were multiplied too much...

Don't know why............did absolutely nothing there except for overall sharpening...........and normal other adjustments,
