A large but effective crop. Fantastic pose. Looks like a ballet dancer. I would take a bit more off the top--half of the tallest part of the perchthat sticks above the spire. Difficult lighting but it looks as if you handled the exposure fairly well but for a few hot spots. DeSATing the reds about 8-10 points would probably make it look a bit more natural.
IAC, it is an effective image from where I sit.

What was the situation?

Thanks Artie

I was taking the Sitting shot with tripod and It flew up as I shot in burst mode!! I wanted to show where it was going So I left the Notch in the image!

Very interesting setting and I like the pose. The bird looks a bit soft on my monitor and agree with Artie's cropping suggestion.

Thank You Both

I believe the Softness is motion blur as it Jumped, Yes I agree It could be cropped a bit off the top but leave the spire!

IAC ?

No feeder used but this is a favorite perch used by several Red Heads. I had setup for a perched bird with the "Halo" tree opening to highlight the head but the bird Jumped as I took the frame!
