Took this image at a wedding reception held in the bride's family's home which was decorated for Christrmas. I sharpened the boy, and added a bit of additional motion blur to the background.
Is this image salvageable? His foot really bothers me. He appears to be floating... Don't know if I just happen to catch him in mid hop, or what...

what do you all think?
thanks!

Not only salvageable? .. its really good !!! Love the motion and overall feel, the foot is unfortunate but happens a lot with these type .. hope you hang on to it, I would be proud of it !!!

Thanks, Al. I got lucky on that image!

perhaps if i just remove the dark spot on the floor beneath the foot, then the foot would not seem to be floating...

Love the idea of apply motion blur to the background, look like he is having fun and enjoy running around. About the floating part, maybe apply the same motion blur to the foot but with different opacity (hope you get what I mean).

very nice effect Cheryl.....to anchor the boy better, I would reduce the blur as much as possible
around the foot.

Does look better Cheryl, also like Dave idea of reducing the blur, never thought of that.
