Two Cormorants

Taken in early July as late afternoon thunderstorms were building. Not sure if this is a Mr and Mrs or a young and old, I liked the contrasts in poses and colors. 40D, 400DO, f13, 1/50s, ISO 400, tripod, MLU, cable release, slight crop from left and top.

I like the poses, soft light and composition. I might sharpen the water around the perches a little bit since the wood and birds appear significantly sharper.

Superb job with the d-o-f and I like the somewhat somber mood. The bird with its wings spread is an adult, the one with the whiter breast is a younger bird.
