Cyclamen sustain my need to grow flowers during the winter. They are the only flowers I can grow in my house.
Here, I applied 3 textures: "Texture Pink" by Mary Brooks Brown (http://www.flickr.com/photos/mbrooksbrown/4194311276/in/pool-textures4layers), with color change, "Champagne Dreams"by pareeerica (http://www.flickr.com/photos/8078381@N03/4082651650/), both free from flickr's Textures for Layers, and one of my own textures. I usually use Multiply as the blending mode, but for one of these (I can't remember which) I believe I used soft light, or something like that. I did some experiimenting and can't quite remember what I kept.
Original image taken indors, natural light, tripod, Nikon D300, Sigma 105 mm lens, f36 (relative), 1.3 sec., ISO 125.
