Nikon D300 with 80-400 mm VR @270 mm, tripod mounted
ISO equivalent 800 (Topaz Denoise applied)
1/200 sec, f/5.6
As I look out my window at mountains of ice and snow here on Maryland's eastern shore, my thoughts turn to a warmer place. Here is a Buff-tailed Coronet photographed at the Tandayapa Bird Lodge in Ecuador.
C&C welcome.

Nice shot of this beautiful hummer! I would like to see it opened up a little more as well.

Good-looking specimen, good sharpness, eye contact and angle. I might tone down the perch a bit and maybe give it more room.
