I've already cloned out many branches here, done a minor repair job on the bird's feathers, burned the background, levels adjustment, high-pass sharpening.

I won't be doing any more sharpening, I like my birds "soft" :)
All other comments and critiques appreciated.

I like the head angle and soft light in this one. I would put the bird a bit higher in the frame and might try to remove the branch partially covering the tail.

Thanks Axel, these tiny sparrows don't usually sit still for me. I wasn't provided any space at the bottom, took off about 20% all around from the other directions. I'll try to rework a version without the rightmost branch and see how it looks. I was imagining that one balanced out the comp a bit, but I could be wrong?

very pretty image Dave, I like the style, and the sweet light, wonderful bg... imo, the birds head is too centered., a quick crop suggestion below.
