Hi Lise - This image is very pleasant to look at as it is nicely composed and the lighting is kind. The little critter has some nice detail, especially the wing feathers and you've told a story as well. I love the bokeh in this image too. Nice head turn on the little guy - it looks a bit morose.

Sweet capture Lise in lovely lighting and the composition is well composed. Love the fact that you are able to see a touch of the habitat. The low angle makes this image for me. Thanks for sharing.

I like the angle and look-back pose and only wish the OOF plants in the lower right were not there. Keep them coming!

Thanks for your comments, it's well appreciated and I agree with Axel with the OOF plants on the right, wishing too that they weren't there!!:)
