Resting between dives

On an early morning this week this guy was resting between diving shows. They are quite a sight -- and sound! I think I was lucky to get this light. The image is cropped minimally, with NR on the water and sharpening on the bird . . .

Might have needed just a little neg compensation, agree on wanting to see some detail in the whites. Should be easy fix in PS ... would also reduce saturation just a tad !!

A beautiful capture indeed, you have nice sharp feather details, a good head angle and sharp eye...agree on the head and neck area being a tad on the bright side...:) Looking forward to your next one...:cool:
