Australia and New Zealand have close ties to the Antarctic these amazing regions of the globe are grouped together here.
No one actually lives permanently in Antarctica so this forum is for past and future visitors to the "Last Continent." I've visited Antarctica over 20 times since 1995 and have landed in many places on the Antarctic Peninsula, Falkland Islands, and South Georgia as a staff member/ornithologist/wildlife photographer on small expedition cruise ships. I have used bricks and bricks of Kodachrome or Fujichrome and of course over the last 6 years turned to digital technology.
Please post Antarctic images, questions about topics such as landing locations, wildlife species, regulations, equipment, or any photo question specific to the continent. Anything Antarctic-related goes! Many BPNers have visited this incredible place and will be able to help.
